RestaPro evolves every week. Here are the features we're researching, building, or preparing for the coming months.

This roadmap can change based on restaurant owner feedback, technical learnings, or opportunities. If something is missing, write to support@restapro.es or talk to Pinche.

Reservations: smart occupancy

🚧 Waitlist + standby

A walk-in customer at the door and the restaurant is full. RestaPro will allow you to:

  • Add to a sorted waitlist from the dashboard.
  • Notify when a table frees up (SMS or email).
  • Customer confirms or rejects with one click.

🚧 SMS / WhatsApp reminders

Email has 30% open rate; SMS has 95%. To reduce no-shows:

  • 24-hour confirmation via SMS or WhatsApp Business.
  • Direct "Confirm" / "Cancel" button.
  • Estimated cost: ~5€/month/restaurant in SMS.

💡 Prepay / deposit for groups

For events and large groups:

  • Deposit secured via Stripe.
  • Refunded if the group shows, retained if they cancel late.
  • Cuts no-shows on groups by 80%.

🚧 Sold out / 86'd in real time

Quick "Mark sold out" button in /app/local. The public menu strikes it through automatically. Auto-recovery at the start of the next service.


AI: prediction and automation

🚧 No-show predictor

AI that analyzes the customer's history, party size, day/time, and prior cancellations to assign a risk score 0-100. When high:

  • Automatic confirmation reminder.
  • Incentive suggestion ("10% off if you come").
  • Each avoided no-show = occupied table = recovered revenue.

🚧 AI replies for group events

Pinche analyzes the proposal + your menu + availability and drafts a professional response in seconds. You edit and send. Saves ~10 min per proposal.

💡 AI campaign suggestions

Daily cron detects patterns:

  • "We saw 5 cancellations this week. Launch a last-minute campaign?"
  • "Low occupancy on Tuesdays. Happy hour promo?"
  • "Your VIPs haven't visited in 45 days. Re-engagement?"

Click → pre-fills the campaign form.

💡 "Best time to send email"

Analyzes real opens (via Resend) and learns when your audience opens. Schedules future emails at that peak (+5-10% open rate).


Business intelligence

🚧 Weekly KPI "Restaurant health"

A single card every Monday:

  • Google rating (vs last week).
  • Confirmed reservations (vs target).
  • No-show rate.
  • Average occupancy.
  • Email open rate.
  • Reviews received.

All with red/green arrows vs 7 days ago.

🌟 Yearly comparison "Your best month"

  • "May 2026: 240 reservations. May 2025: 180. +33%."
  • Optional monthly email with a recap.
  • Useful for presentations, celebrations, planning.

🌟 Risk-customer detector

We already have the ⚠ badge and the alert email. Coming up:

  • Filterable list of high-risk customers.
  • "Require deposit" automatic option.
  • CRM filter.

Customer and loyalty

💡 Loyalty program

  • Digital card with points per visit.
  • Automatic email: "Glad to see you again! 80 points accumulated".
  • 11th meal 20% off, etc.

We're validating whether restaurant owners are asking for it before we invest.


Public and conversion

🚧 Multi-language on the public page

For foreign tourism:

  • Spanish + English + French.
  • Customer picks. Visible selector.
  • Public only; backoffice stays in Spanish.

🌟 WhatsApp-shareable menu

Magic link that opens your menu directly on the customer's phone, no downloads, no signup.

🚧 Event privatization / full-room bookings

Block an entire zone for a private event:

  • Closes the dining room for that date/time.
  • Closed menu + budget + guest list.
  • Other customers see "Closed for private event".

Operations

🌟 Advanced reports

  • Average service time.
  • Conversion by channel (web vs walk-in vs phone).
  • RFM segmentation (recency/frequency/value).
  • Return on marketing campaigns.

🌟 Export for accountants

CSV/XLSX ready for your accountant: reservations + covers + estimated revenue per month.

💡 Internal reviews

Post-meal, private customer rating for your team (not published). To detect operational issues before they reach Google.
